Are all Ochil Fudge products hand-made?
All our fudge is made by Ochil Fudge, it is made by hand by our incredibly skilled fudgetiers fresh, every single day.
Are all Ochil Fudge products Vegetarian/Vegan-friendly?
All fudges created by Ochil Fudge are vegetarian-friendly. We do not currently create vegan fudge, but are working on a vegan/dairy free fudge recipe that meets our high standards for both quality and taste!
Are all Ochil Fudge products Gluten-Free?
All fudge created by Ochil Fudge is 100% gluten-free, our kitchen is free from all gluten products and we regularly have our products tested by an independent lab to ensure they remain so.. Keep an eye out for our 100% Gluten-Free badge on our fudge product pages and packaging.
What are the shelf life (Best Before Dates) of Ochil Fudge products?
As we use no artificial preservatives in our fudge, our fudges have different shelf-lives depending on what base the fudge is made from (this translates to what category or collection these fudges are in on our online store). Butter Fudge: 10-11 weeks Cream Fudge: 4-5 weeks Scottish Tablet: 9-10 weeks
Is there a physical Ochil Fudge store I can purchase fudge from?
There is no physical shop for Ochil Fudge. We supply a range of stockists all over Scotland and England, a list of which can be found here on our Stockists page. We also offer Local Pickup for orders that meet the correct requirements so if you live locally you can order on-line and then pick up from our production unit.
Can I freeze fudge?
We recommend you store your fudge in a cool dry place and consume it before its shelf-life expires. If you have the self-control to save your fudge, our fudge can be frozen for later use. Make sure to defrost properly before eating and very importantly, remove it from its packaging to allow it to reach temperature. Frozen fudge may appear shiny while thawing, this is natural and will clear up.
Does your fudge contain artificial preservatives?
No artificial preservatives are used in the creation of any of our fudge. Sugar is a natural preservative and will help ensure your fudge lasts, in the correct environment, for as long as the shelf-life states. We are committed to keeping our fudge natural and handmade and stay away from artificial additives whenever possible.


How do I select fudges for a 4 Fudge Gift Box?
When building a 4 Fudge Gift Box, simply scroll down through the box on the left-hand side of the product, and either click or drag your desired fudge into the box on the right. When all four slots are filled, the ADD TO BASKET button will appear. Any combination of the shown fudges can be chosen.
If I choose a specific fudge can you guarantee it will be available or in stock?
In the main we can supply all our fudges at all times however, as you can imagine with such a wide range there are periods, due to high volumes of orders (October to December mainly), it may be that we take a little longer than normal to fulfil orders.
I have a discount code, how do I use it?
At checkout, there is a box on the right side of the page where you can enter the discount code.


When will my order arrive?
Your delivery date will depend on the shipping and delivery method shown and paid for. We normally dispatch orders within 3 days but from 1st October to 31st December this can be a little longer due to the high volumes of orders we receive at that time.
Can I order for a specific date?
Yes, if you communicate with us at the time of ordering we will do our utmost to ensure delivery requests are met. We are however at the behest of the Royal Mail so as long as they do their job, most things can be achieved.
How do I cancel my order?
Whilst we hope it won’t happen we realise that on occasions you require to cancel your order. Please send an e-mail to advising us that you wish to cancel and quoting your order number and stating the reason for cancellation. If your order has already been dispatched and you decide to cancel then you can return it to us assuming it is undamaged and in the original packaging, if there is no fault with the order and this has purely been a “change in requirements” then this return will be at the customer’s cost.
What courier service does the Ochil Fudge Pantry use?
DPD Overnight ... in case of a fudge emergency!!
Can I change delivery details after an order is placed?
If an order has been placed but there is an error in the information provided, you can contact Ochil Fudge to amend these details. Depending on the stage of the order we may be able to assist and will try to be as accommodating as possible.
Can I change delivery details after an order is dispatched?
Once an order has been dispatched Ochil Fudge cannot amend any delivery details, or offer any refunds unless the product itself is proven to be faulty.
What are my UK delivery options?
For UK deliveries, we use both Royal Mail and DPD courier. All orders over the value of £15.00 will be entitled to free delivery (48 hours tracked), or to upgrade to a 24-hour service an additional charge of £1.50. Orders between £8.00 - £14.99 will require a shipping contribution of £2.00 for 48 hours tracked or £3.50 for 24 hours tracked. Orders below £7.99 will require a shipping contribution of £4.40 for 48 hours tracked or £5.90 24 hours tracked. Note that Northern Ireland orders are exempt from free delivery on orders that exceed 2kg and will incur an additional carriage charge of £12.50 between 2kg-5kg and £22.68 for orders over 5kg. *Please be aware that during our busy periods, i.e Christmas, it may take longer than usual to fulfil orders.
What are my international delivery options?
For International delivery, we use Royal Mail which usually takes between 10-15 days, the cost is on a case by case basis but is usually between £22 and £30.
Can I track my order?
For Courier selection, an email or text will be sent updating you throughout the parcels journey from us to you. For Royal Mail, a “tracking number” will be added to your online order, you will then receive an automated email from us containing this information, from there you can track your delivery.
What happens if I am not in when my fudge is delivered?
If you are not present when the courier or Royal Mail attempts delivery, a card should be left to arrange re-delivery or you can pick up from the relevant depot/local post office, whatever is more suitable to you.
Can I have my order delivered to another address other than my own?
Yes, it is no problem to select an address other than your own and we will dispatch there for you.
